Michael Drougas is an associate attorney focused on civil litigation, including long-term care/nursing home litigation, medical malpractice, and appellate issues. Michael grew up in the Roanoke Valley.
He graduated from Oberlin College, studying History and Politics. Michael earned his J.D. from George Washington University Law School. He participated in the Health Rights Legal Clinic, representing low-income clients in the District of Columbia that were on Medicaid and other public benefit programs. He obtained a concentration in Health Law.
After law school, Michael clerked for the judges of Virginia’s 23rd Judicial Circuit in Roanoke, Virginia, and then served as a law clerk to the Honorable Frank K. Friedman, a Judge on the Court of Appeals of Virginia. In joining FA+P, Michael looks forward to putting the skills he learned during his clerkships to use. In his free time, Michael enjoys hiking and spending time outside.
