Andy Gerrish focuses his practice on civil litigation, particularly in the areas of legal malpractice, professional liability, cyber and financial fraud, insurance coverage, and other commercial litigation.
Andy also regularly advises attorney clients on ethical, professional-liability, and practice-management issues. He has experience representing attorney clients facing Virginia State Bar complaints.
Andy also serves as counsel for attorneys and firms opposing disqualification and sanctions motions. And he counsels attorney clients who are opening, closing, or transferring a law practice.
Before joining Frith, Anderson & Peake, P.C., Andy clerked for the judges of the First Judicial Circuit of Virginia in Chesapeake, Virginia, and the judges of the Twenty-third Judicial Circuit of Virginia in Roanoke, Virginia.
Andy is a two-time graduate of Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia.
