Frith Anderson + Peake is pleased to announce that Sean Workowski and Katherine Londos have been elected as the firm’s Co-Managing Partners. They succeed founding and longtime managing partner Phillip V. Anderson, who will continue as a member of the firm’s executive committee, along with partners Matt Kelley, Andrew Gerrish, and Nathan Schnetzler. Phil Anderson will continue to lead the firm’s insurance coverage section and continue his broad civil litigation practice, including the representation of attorneys in malpractice and disciplinary matters.
Katherine Londos and Sean Workowski have been with the firm for over twenty years and have served on the firm’s executive committee for over a decade. Both received their law degrees from Washington & Lee University School of Law in 1993. Phil Anderson commented that he is “delighted to pass along management of the firm to Katherine and Sean, who are not only outstanding lawyers and exceptional leaders, but are uniquely skilled and gifted to expand the firm’s commitment to excellence in the provision of legal services. Katherine and Sean have earned the respect of their clients and their peers and are more than ready to assume these additional responsibilities.”
Sean Workowski leads the firm’s transportation/trucking practice, and he regularly defends insurance carriers and their insureds in “catastrophic injury” cases throughout Virginia and West Virginia. Katherine Londos manages the firm’s institutional healthcare practice, representing nursing facilities and other institutional healthcare providers across Virginia. Sean and Katherine are members of the American Board of Trial Advocates, an invitation-only national association of experienced trial lawyers, and both are “AV” Rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Both have been recognized by Best Lawyers in America and Virginia Super Lawyers, and in Virginia Business’s list of “Legal Elite.” Katherine is also a Fellow with the Virginia Law Foundation and the Litigation Counsel of America.
“Katherine and I are grateful to Phil for the exceptional leadership and example he has set for us and others, not only in our firm, but in our profession. His dedication to our firm and the profession, his mentorship of us and other younger lawyers with whom he has worked, and his steady and thoughtful management of the firm for over 15 years set a high bar for us. We embrace this challenge with excitement and are both thrilled to assume the role of leading the firm into its next chapter. We look forward to continuing to practice with Phil and our other partners and firm colleagues for many years to come. We are excited to move the firm forward,” said Sean Workowski.
