FA+P attorneys, Samuel Bernier and Matthew Kelley, recently published work in The Journal of Civil Litigation from the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys.

It addresses the expanding role advanced practitioners will play in healthcare following the COVID-19 pandemic’s expansion of their scope of practice both in Virginia and across state lines via telehealth. It will be important for health care practices to analyze the related legal considerations, including those specific to telehealth, as more nurse practitioners and physician assistants provide health care in office and virtually.
