Attorney Macel Janoschka presented at the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys’ “Young Lawyers Boot Camp” seminar on December 4, 2020.  She was a co-presenter for a session titled, “How to Try a Case in General District Court.”

Macel’s session explained the role of general district courts, the subject matter of cases heard there, the rules and principles in these courts, and the actions taken there from initial and subsequent pleadings, counter-claims, cross claims, return dates, and discovery through trial, appeals, new trials, and the setting aside of default judgments.

Macel focuses her practice on civil litigation, particularly in the areas of insurance defense, premises liability, automobile liability and workers’ compensation.
