After Phil Anderson and Andy Gerrish obtained the dismissal of all claims asserted against their attorney client in a legal-malpractice matter filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Virginia, the plaintiff appealed that dismissal to the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. After the parties briefed the plaintiff’s appeal, the Fourth Circuit affirmed the dismissal in a per curiam opinion and without oral argument.
