Frith Anderson + Peake welcomes new partners Laurel Huerkamp and Kari Munro.

Laurel joins Frith Anderson + Peake following eleven years as an Assistant Attorney General in the Office of the Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Virginia. Laurel Huerkamp counsels and defends clients involved in all types of civil claims, including medical negligence, product liability, premises liability, commercial litigation, and general casualty matters.

Kari focuses her practice on advocacy for individual healthcare providers and medical practices throughout Virginia.  As part of the firm’s medical malpractice group, she assists clients with negligence claims, Department of Health Professions investigations, medical credentialing issues, and Section 1983 constitutional law claims. Prior to joining Frith Anderson + Peake, Kari served as an Assistant United States Attorney and as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney, where she represented the United States and the Commonwealth of Virginia in criminal cases.
