Ericka Kopp is an associate attorney focused on civil litigation, specifically in the area of medical malpractice. Though originally from Tampa, Florida, Richmond, Virginia is the place she calls home. In 2014, Ericka earned her Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science, as well as three minors in Chemistry, Biology, and Spanish. Eight years later, she earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Richmond School of Law.
Before and during law school, Ericka worked as a paralegal to an appellate-level criminal defense attorney, drafting mostly appellate briefs for the Appeals Court and Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts. In her second year of law school, Ericka participated in the Wrongful Convictions Clinic where she assisted her client in being released from incarceration after 26 years. Before joining FA+P, Ericka clerked for the Honorable M. Duncan Minton, Jr., of the Twelfth Judicial Circuit in Chesterfield and Colonial Heights, Virginia.
