Frith Anderson + Peake is proud to announce the promotion of Katie DeCoster to partner. Katie joined FA+P in 2017.  Prior to joining FA+P, she served as an Assistant Attorney General in Abingdon, Virginia. A graduate of Roanoke College and the West Virginia University College of Law, Katie practices in both Virginia and West Virginia courts.

In 2020, the rating service Super Lawyers® recognized Katie as a Virginia Rising Star®, a selection reserved for just 2.5% of attorneys 40 or younger or having been in practice 10 years or less.  In addition to her legal practice she serves on the board of the Roanoke chapter of the Virginia Women’s Attorney Association and is an active CrossFit enthusiast.

Katie’s practice focuses primarily on civil litigation, particularly in the areas of insurance defense, transportation, products liability, premises liability, local government, and constitutional law.
