Cameron Ervin grew up in Morganton, North Carolina. She graduated from Davidson College with a degree in Political Science. She received her law degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law.
Before law school, Cameron worked in Washington, DC as a legal assistant at a law firm that specialized in family law and trusts and estates matters. Following this, she spent several years working as a Senior Paralegal Specialist with the Department of Justice’s Criminal Division Fraud Section. In this position, Cameron supported the Miami Health Care Fraud Strike Force and split her time between Washington, DC and Miami, Florida. During law school, she gained experience working as a legal extern for Judge Allegra Collins and Judge Mark A. Davis (formerly Justice Davis on the North Carolina Supreme Court) at the North Carolina Court of Appeals.
Cameron also interned at IQVIA in the Office of General Counsel in Durham, NC and for the General Counsel at Carolinas Health Care System Blue Ridge in Morganton, NC.
